Do some days feel like you're swimming against a current? Trudging through muck, perhaps? You're not alone. Nor are you helpless. It's possible to give yourself a boost of energy. A respite until you can rest.
The old adage "Go with the Flow"? It is rooted in your energies!
Think Traditional Chinese Medicine. The meridian system is like an energy bloodstream with each of its tributaries flowing into the next. It flows in a forward direction.
When we've been running too long, trying to meet deadlines, spreading ourselves too thin, and not making time for rest or a vacation...
These energies, in their infinite wisdom - work to slow us down!
They start to flow backwards and when they do, even walking a few steps forward can exhaust us - as we're going against our the flow of our own energies! There is a solution, or at least - a reprieve - until you can find time to relax and restore yourself with rest.
Just for fun, if this describes you - exhaustion in moving forward, try walking backwards for a few steps. It likely won't tire you as walking forward does!
This can actually be demonstrated through applied kinesiology. Muscle tests show that when you're in this state of exhaustion, when meridians are running backwards, walking backwards will make you stronger. Ha, true this. Neither convenient, nor in some cases, safe. So, best massage and tap your K-27 points to get your energies flowing forward again. It only takes seconds to do!
K-27 to the rescue!!!
K-27 is the 27th point on Kidney Meridian. More importantly, it is the junction point for all meridians in the body. Working with K-27 can balance numerous issues with one simple technique.
Use this same tapping of K-27 if your eyes are tired while driving. Take ONE hand off the wheel and tap your K-27 points. This will temporarily re-awaken your eyes until you can get to wherever you're going.
Kidney Meridian governs the kidneys, and in turn is associated with blood pressure. The emotional energy is fear, a yin energy of fear, one of not being enough or not being up to the challenges we find ourselves facing. Balancing kidney energy can help balance fearful feelings and help to normalize blood pressure as well.
For exhaustion, this is really more of a cheat than a cure. But it will serve to get you through the exhaustion long enough to get home and get some rest. Massage these points daily to help prevent exhaustion in future.
